Markarian’s Chain

Markarian’s Chain is a large string of galaxies, ranging up to 50 million light-years from Earth. This chain has multiple notable galaxies to touch on. There are the M84, M86, 4435, NGC 4438and several other galaxies. This target is best taken with fast short scopes for wide-field images, or large telescopes with a high focal length to capture the fine details.
